VAN Festival Guide 2026
Liedstadt Hamburg 2026
September 26 to October 10, 2026
Hamburg, Germany (Elbphilharmonie, Laeiszhalle, Halle 424, KNUST, the Crypt of St. Michael’s Church, resonanzraum St. Pauli, Rolf Liebermann Studio, TONALi Hall, Brakula, and other venues)

Liedstadt connects people through music, both in front of and on stage. Top international stars from the classical music scene share the stage with artists coming from musical, soul and dance, and also look forward to authentic encounters with the audience. Atmospheric venues such as the KNUST Club, the industrial charm of Hall 424, and the crypt beneath St. Michael’s Church provide the perfect setting. Julian Prégardien, Thomas Hampson, Valerie Eickhoff, and Nils Wanderer lead the lineup, joined by — among others — the Rothko String Quartet, Hamburg-based rapper Älice, and DJ Yazmo.
